More Than Weight Loss. A Healthier Metabolism. A Healthier You.
Weight gain isn’t always simply about willpower, calories, or exercise. Insulin resistance, hormonal changes, metabolic dysfunction, genetics, inflammation, medications, and other health factors can all make losing weight—and keeping it off—more difficult.
At Metabolic Centers for Excellence (MCE), we take a comprehensive approach to weight loss. Rather than focusing on the number on the scale alone, we look for the underlying factors that may be making weight loss difficult and develop a personalized plan designed to improve metabolic health while supporting healthy, sustainable weight loss.
Our weight-loss programs may include comprehensive lab testing, metabolic and insulin-resistance evaluation, nutrition and lifestyle guidance, medical weight-loss options when appropriate, and therapies designed to support overall metabolic health.
Our goal isn’t simply to help you lose weight—it’s to help you understand your metabolism, improve your health, and create results you can maintain.
For patients who would like to incorporate GLP-1 medication into their MCE weight-loss and metabolic health program, we offer access to compounded GLP-1 medications through our compounding pharmacy partners, when clinically appropriate and prescribed by a licensed provider. While GLP-1 medications are widely recognized for supporting weight loss, their potential benefits can extend beyond the number on the scale. Depending on the medication and the individual patient, GLP-1 therapy may also support blood sugar control, appetite regulation, insulin sensitivity, cardiovascular health, and overall metabolic health. At MCE, GLP-1 medications can be used as one tool within a more comprehensive, individualized approach to improving your health.
Reduce Inflammation, improve how your body uses energy, and increase overall health.

KPV is a tripeptide composed of three amino acids: Lysine, Proline, and Valine. It is derived from the C-terminal end of the α-melanocyte stimulating hormone (α-MSH), which plays a role in regulating inflammation and immune response. Due to its potential therapeutic effects, KPV has gained attention for its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, making it a subject of interest in various medical and wellness applications.
KPV is used by individuals seeking relief from a variety of inflammatory and autoimmune conditions due to its potential to reduce inflammation and promote healing. Some common conditions for which KPV may be beneficial include:
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD): KPV may help reduce inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract, making it potentially useful for managing conditions like Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.
Celiac Disease: KPV may support intestinal healing and reduce inflammation in individuals with Celiac Disease.
Psoriasis: Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, KPV might help manage symptoms of psoriasis by reducing skin inflammation.
Wound Infections: KPV’s antimicrobial properties may assist in treating or preventing wound infections by inhibiting the growth of harmful microbes.
Other Inflammatory Conditions: KPV may be useful in other conditions characterized by chronic inflammation, potentially offering relief and promoting healing.
The shelf life of KPV peptide varies depending on its formulation and storage conditions. Always check the “Best If Used By” date on the product packaging and follow storage recommendations to maintain its efficacy.
Wound Healing: TB-4 Frag is known for its ability to accelerate the healing of wounds by promoting cell migration to injury sites and supporting tissue regeneration.
Tissue Repair: The peptide aids in the regeneration of soft tissues, making it beneficial for recovering from injuries and reducing recovery time.
Scar Reduction: TB-4 Frag helps reduce the formation of fibrous tissue, which can minimize scarring and improve the overall appearance of healed wounds.
Angiogenesis: By stimulating the formation of new blood vessels, TB-4 Frag enhances blood supply to damaged tissues, further supporting the healing process.
